Job Description Ecolab is looking for aSolution Architectto design and implement technical solutions to meet the business needs of Ecolab Global Business Services (GBS) and Corporate Platforms organization. The Solution Architect will apply engineering and programming best practices to craft the overall technical vision collaborating with other technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure the technical solution meets the business needs. Whats in it For You: - The opportunity to take on some of the worlds most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environments - The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth - The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best What You Will Do: - Develop blueprints for solution design utilizing existing tools/framework or new capabilities. - Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Security to ensure final solution blueprint meets expectations - Assess existing technologies and evaluate new technologies to design solutions that are scalable, secure and cost effective. - Contribute to overall technical design on new projects or when enhancing existing platforms. - Act as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate technical details into understandable terms for business leaders - Collaborate with technology peers and third-party vendor technical teams on design features/capabilities - Create and maintain detailed solution architecture documentation and diagrams Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience - Minimum 5 years experience in Information Technology - Minimum 3 years experience designing software architecture including cloud computing and SaaS solutions. - Knowledge of security, database, hardware, networks and cloud & virtualization concepts - Experience with solution design for platforms running in Azure or AWS - Experience with integration platforms and ETL tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, Fivetran) - Able to act independently, seeking guidance and advice as appropriate Preferred Qualifications: - Business Acumen: Order to Cash (OTC), Source to Pay (STP), Record to Report (RTR) - Experience with SAP integrated business applications - Experience with Lucidchart or similar tool
