Job Title Sr Manager Tech Services Location MRO Bengaluru BLR Job Type Full-time Function Engineering Reports To Chief Manager Technical Services We are seeking a Sr Manager Tech Services to lead aircraft maintenance and engineering operations The role involves overseeing fleet technical management ensuring compliance with safety regulations mitigating maintenance risks and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency and cost control Key Responsibilities Participate in aircraft selection acquisition and retirement in coordination with cross-functional teams Manage risks related to aircraft maintenance and repairs identifying safety hazards and developing mitigation strategies Lead mentor and manage the engineering team to achieve operational and organizational goals Ensure compliance with aviation regulations safety standards and industry best practices Monitor operational efficiency aircraft availability and timely completion of maintenance tasks Coordinate with third-party vendors suppliers and regulatory authorities to ensure high-quality service delivery Support additional projects or tasks as assigned by leadership Skills Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of relevant aviation regulations and industry standards Strategic planning and foresight Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities Effective coordination and communication across teams Key Performance Indicators Aircraft availability and operational efficiency On-time performance of maintenance tasks Safety performance and compliance with regulations Cost management and operational expenditure control Key Interfaces Internal Engineering Teams coordinate for timely operations and technical support External Regulatory Authorities ensure compliance with aviation regulations Third-party Vendors Suppliers monitor service quality and timely delivery of materials Education Experience Requirements Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification with DGCA license or relevant engineering degree Aeronautical Mechanical Electrical Electronics Avionics Minimum 6 7 years experience in aircraft engineering services maintenance with at least 5 years in a leadership role Practical experience in aviation safety standards and safe operating practices Strong knowledge of regulations and industry standards preferred Experience on Boeing fleet is an advantage Aviation Indeed does not charge any fees for interviews or recruitment from candidates Report any fraudulent incident to info aviationindeed com
