Job Description A banking Deputy Managerassists the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They also play a crucial role in business development and operational efficiency, assisting with tasks like financial reporting, staff training, and coordinating with other departments. Core responsibilities - Operations and administration:Assist the Branch Manager with daily branch operations, ensuring smooth functioning and strict adherence to the bank's policies and procedures. - Staff supervision and management:Supervise, mentor, and support branch staff to ensure high performance and maintain excellent customer service standards. - Customer relations:Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and build strong relationships. - Sales and business development:Assist in achieving branch sales targets by cross-selling financial products and acquiring new customers. - Compliance and risk:Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures, and assist in resolving audit observations. - Reporting and analysis:Monitor branch performance metrics and assist in preparing reports for senior management. Key skills and qualifications - Education:A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is often required. - Experience:Prior experience in a banking or financial services role, preferably in a supervisory capacity, is essential. - Skills: - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making. - Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements. - Analytical and numerical skills.
