Position Title Junior Program Officer - Education and Government Liaison Location Devodhya Foundation Head Office Balni Mehath Jhanjharpur Madhubani Bihar Field travel within Madhubani and nearby districts Reports To Program Manager - Community Development Role Purpose Strengthen Devodhya Foundations programs by teaching children coordinating with government offices mapping welfare schemes and supporting day to day operations This is a fresher friendly role that builds capability in education delivery public administration and community operations Freshers from all streams are welcome Key Responsibilities Education Support Take engaging classes and tutoring for primary and middle school students Create simple worksheets activities and progress trackers Coordinate with parents teachers and volunteers Government Liaison Visit and follow up with DM SP BDO Civil Surgeon CWC and other offices Draft letters seek appointments present project updates and record minutes Track submissions approvals and compliance status Welfare Schemes and Beneficiary Support Research central and state welfare schemes in education health livelihood women empowerment and social protection Prepare one page summaries eligibility checklists and document sets Help beneficiaries fill forms and submit applications Operations and Presentations Build clean PowerPoint decks one pagers and meeting briefs Maintain registers expense logs inventory and basic MIS in Excel or Google Sheets Support events workshops and visitors at the head office Must Have Skills Fluent English speaking and writing Strong overall communication skills for meetings phone calls and email Presentation skills in PowerPoint including clear story flow and confident delivery Critical thinking and structured problem solving for day to day tasks Basic Excel or Google Sheets for simple trackers and MIS Professional conduct punctuality and clear documentation Good To Have Hindi fluency and Maithili familiarity Any internship or volunteer experience in teaching NSS NCC or NGOs Two wheeler license and comfort with local travel Eligibility Education Any bachelor degree Freshers from all streams are welcome Experience 0 to 1 year Internships and volunteer work will be valued Compensation and Benefits Compensation and benefits as per industry standard Travel reimbursement as per policy Learning and mentorship opportunities with senior team members Diversity and Inclusion Devodhya Foundation is an equal opportunity employer Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply in line with our commitment to gender equality All qualified applicants will receive fair consideration regardless of gender caste religion disability or background Application Process Email your CV and a 5 slide sample presentation on any social issue to support devodhya com with the subject line Application - Junior Program Officer Shortlisted candidates will complete a teaching demo and a situational interview Job Type Full-time Pay 12 214 97 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
