We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Accountant Accounts Associate to manage the financial operations of our distinguished hotel The ideal candidate will have a proven background in a hotel or hospitality setting and a strong grasp of industry-specific financial metrics Responsibilities The Hotel Accountant will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records and reporting ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards Key duties include Financial Reporting Preparing timely and accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements including Balance Sheets P L statements and Cash Flow statements General Ledger Reconciliations Maintaining the general ledger performing monthly closing procedures and reconciling all bank statements and key balance sheet accounts e g Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Budgeting Forecasting Assisting in the preparation of the annual operating budget as well as periodic forecasts and analyzing variances Revenue Management Monitoring and analyzing daily hotel revenues and expenses tracking key performance indicators such as ADR Average Daily Rate and RevPAR Revenue Per Available Room Accounts Payable Receivable Overseeing the processing of invoices ensuring timely vendor payments and managing the hotel s accounts receivable and collections processes Payroll Compliance Processing and controlling payroll ensuring compliance with local taxation e g GST TDS and labor laws Auditing Controls Assisting with internal and external financial audits and ensuring all financial operations adhere to internal controls and hotel policies Cost Management Analyzing financial data to identify trends recommend cost control measures and optimize operational efficiency Qualifications and Requirements Education Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field Professional certification e g CPA CMA is a plus Experience Minimum 0-2 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years specifically within the hotel or hospitality industry Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 10 000 00 - 12 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
