Position Title: Senior Accountant – Taxation & Compliance Work Location: Bangalore Experience: 4+ years Model: Work From Office in BTM 2nd Stage Role requirement: Immediate Joiners preferred, even 15 to 30 days of notice period can also apply. About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant – Taxation & Compliance to join our finance team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, Advance Tax, and statutory compliance. This role involves managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory deadlines, and providing support during audits and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and verify expense reports for accuracy and compliance. - Reconcile petty cash, expense accounts, and clear suspense accounts monthly. - Track payments, manage outstanding invoices, and follow up on collections. - Maintain systematic filing of invoices and financial records. - Calculate and manage TDS, including generation of payment challans and returns. - Handle GST registration and monthly filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). - Assist in Income Tax, Advance Tax, and Professional Tax computations and filings. - Review Form 16, and tax-related computations for accuracy. - Ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements including PF and ESI. - Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors to provide necessary financial data. - Prepare and submit financial documents for audit and banking requirements. - Support interim and annual audits with reconciliations and clarifications. - Assist employees, consultants, and stakeholders with tax and compliance matters. - Provide documentation and payment details as required for tax and compliance queries. - Offer proactive updates on tax liabilities and ensure timely follow-ups on compliance deadlines. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in commerce / finance / accounting (B. Com / M. Com / CA Inter preferred) - 4–6 years of hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. - In-depth knowledge of: - GST, TDS, Income Tax, Advance Tax, Professional Tax - Form 16, PF, ESI, and statutory filings - Proficiency in accounting software such as: - Tally ERP9, Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or equivalent - Strong command over MS Excel and financial data analysis - Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills - Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving abilities How to Apply: Send your resume to sridevi.k@hexad.in with the subject line Senior Accountant opportunity with Hexad.
