Responsibilities Key DeliverablesDesign Development Activity of Exterior Lighting of System like Head Lamp Tail Lamp Roof Lamp need to handle independently Utilize cutting-edge lighting technologies such as LED OLED laser and adaptive lighting systems to create visually appealing and functional lighting designs Should work in CFT environment and Prepare and track New head lamp design timelinesPropose evaluate the designs based on the regulations requirement for New head lamp Design and support to ongoing lighting system concern and design updates Perform Desing review along with supplier and CFT as per requirementInteract with Styling team for final design proposals Resolving the styling feedback as per the benchmark lessons learned Collaborate with supplier team to develop and modify 3D models assemblies and drawings using Catia V5 software Provide technical support and expertise in Catia V5 design for automotive lighting system and components Conduct market research to understand customer needs competitor offerings and emerging trends in vehicle lighting with a focus on enhancing the visibility safety and aesthetics of external lighting Experience10 -12 years minimum Preferred Qualifications Experience working with advanced external lighting technologies such as adaptive front lighting systems AFS and autonomous vehicle lighting systems Familiarity with simulation and lighting performance testing tools Industry PreferredQualificationsGeneral Requirements Proven experience in Catia V5 design for automotive lighting preferably within the automotive industry Proficiency in Catia V5 software and other relevant design tools required for lighting system simulations and photometric requirement Strong understanding of automotive lighting design principles materials and manufacturing processes Good understanding on LED s used in lighting system Experience in optical design photometry and lighting simulations Knowledge of RLDA CAE Analysis Should have knowledge related to CAE Optics and Electronics requirement Knowledge of regulatory standards CE AIS SAE FMVSS etc and requirements for automotive lighting Experience in Lighting system DVP R Must have executed at least one Headlamp and Tail lamp end to end validation Experience in Lighting system DFMEA Experience in project management or working in cross-functional teams Expert in Homologation documentation and get it cleared from certify agencies Vehicle Sensors Control Systems o Integration of vehicle sensors such as Vehicle Speed Fuel level Oil level Water in fuel o Ensure high-quality sensor for ADAS - data acquisition radar LiDAR ultrasonic and vision systems in electronic architecture o Knowledge of implementation of advanced control algorithms for optimal sensor data processing o Manage the validation calibration and testing of sensors and associated control systems to meet performance reliability and safety standards under various operating conditions
