Role Overview : The Academic Counsellor guides learners, understands their career goals, recommends the right programs, and helps them through the admission process. This is a revenue-driving, counselling-focused role based in physical learning centres. Key Responsibilities : - Counsel potential learners via calls, centre visits, and video sessions. - Understand learner needs and recommend suitable upGrad programs. - Convert leads to admissions and achieve monthly enrolment targets. - Manage the full sales cycle — enquiry to enrolment and post-sales support. - Maintain CRM records and track performance metrics. - Coordinate with centre teams to ensure smooth learner experience. Requirements : - Graduate with 1-2 years of B2C or consultative sales experience (EdTech preferred). - Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to work with targets and handle multiple tasks. - Basic MS Office + CRM proficiency.
