Job Description Position: Business Development Intern Duration: 3 Months Internship Type: Unpaid Internship (No Stipend) Work Mode: Hybrid Office Location: WeWork Futura, Futura, Magarpatta Rd, Kirtane Baugh, Magarpatta, Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra 411028 About Eval8: Eval8 is an AI-powered assessment and hiring platform that enables companies to conduct mock placement drives and evaluate candidates through real-world hiring simulations. The platform bridges colleges and recruiters by creating a structured, efficient, and technology-driven recruitment experience. Internship Overview: We are looking for motivated and proactive Business Development Interns who are interested in learning sales outreach, lead generation, and B2B communication in the education and recruitment space. This internship offers hands-on exposure to institutional sales, database creation, and professional communication with colleges and placement authorities. Key Responsibilities: - Research and create a comprehensive database of colleges and Training & Placement Officers (TPOs) across India - Identify and verify contact details including official email IDs and phone numbers - Conduct outbound sales and introductory calls to TPOs to explain Eval8's offering - Assist in lead qualification and follow-ups with interested colleges - Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and responses - Support the business development team in expanding institutional partnerships Eligibility & Requirements: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related fields - Strong communication skills (English; Hindi/regional language is a plus) - Comfortable with phone calls and professional conversations - Basic understanding or interest in sales, business development, or ed-tech - Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets for database management - Self-driven, disciplined, and eager to learn What You Will Gain: - Practical exposure to B2B sales and institutional outreach - Understanding of the college placement ecosystem - Experience in lead generation, CRM basics, and professional communication - Certificate of Internship upon successful completion - Letter of Recommendation (based on performance) - Opportunity to be considered for future paid roles with Eval8 Important Note: - This is a 3-month unpaid internship designed for candidates seeking real-world experience and skill development in business development and sales.
