Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Plan, manage, and coordinate all Salesforce release activities, including major and minor deployments. - Work with Salesforce Admins, Developers, QA, and Business Analysts to consolidate release schedules. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, or Jenkins. - Govern and enforce change management and deployment best practices. - Manage and monitor source control (e.g., Git), branches, and versioning strategies. - Maintain a consistent and reliable sandbox strategy (dev, QA, UAT, staging). - Perform pre-deployment impact analysis and post-deployment validation. - Document release processes, technical changes, and rollback plans. - Coordinate with stakeholders to reduce release-related risks and downtime. - Stay updated on Salesforce seasonal releases and evaluate their impact. Qualifications & Skills: Essential: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in Salesforce release management, DevOps, or configuration management. - Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, change sets, unlocked/managed packages, and API-based deployments. - Hands-on experience with source control systems (Git, Bitbucket). - Familiarity with Salesforce development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Proficient in Salesforce tools: Workbench, Data Loader, Ant Migration Tool, or SFDX CLI. Desirable: - Experience with Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. - Salesforce certifications: Platform App Builder, Admin, or DevOps Specialist (Copado). - Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, or Flows is a plus. - Familiarity with Agile ALM tools (JIRA, Confluence, Rally, ServiceNow).
