Job Description Job Title: Document Controller Location: Chennai only WFO Industry: Oil & Gas Onshore & Offshore Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 3 to 10 Years Job Description: We are seeking a Document Controller with 3 to 10 years of experience to support onshore and offshore oil & gas EPC projects. The role involves managing project documentation efficiently, ensuring compliance with company and client standards, and facilitating smooth document flow across all project disciplines. Key Responsibilities: - Control and manage project documents including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence. - Maintain document control systems ensuring proper filing, version control, and retrieval. - Coordinate timely distribution and transmittal of documents as per project procedures. - Upload, track, and archive documents using project management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, Documentum). - Support document audits, reviews, and ensure document traceability and integrity. - Collaborate with project teams and clients to resolve document-related queries. Qualifications: - Diploma or degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline. - 3 to 10 years of document control experience in EPC oil & gas projects (onshore/offshore preferred). - Proficiency with document management systems and project control software. - Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. - Good communication and coordination abilities.
