Senior AI Product Manager

We are looking for a driven, visionary Senior AI Product Manager to lead our AI-powered learning and upskilling products someone who can combine technical depth, strategic thinking, and a passion for education to help us build the next generation of learning experiences. What you'll do Define the product vision and strategy for AI/ML-driven learning products at Masai, aligning with our mission to deliver high-impact, accessible education to learners across India. Own end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and roadmap planning to launch, feedback iteration, and scaling, especially focusing on AI/ML capabilities (personalization, recommendation, generative AI features, etc.). Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and pedagogical teams to translate business and learner needs into well-defined product requirements and technical specs. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for AI innovation in the EdTech and upskilling space especially relevant to the Indian learner base. Define success metrics, KPIs, and utilize data analytics to measure user engagement, learning outcomes, and business impact. Ensure the user experience for learners and instructors/admin remains intuitive, inclusive, and delivers real value. Drive responsible AI and ethical practices: fairness, transparency, data privacy, and alignment with our values. Mentor and guide junior product managers or aspiring talent cultivating a culture of learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Stay abreast of latest AI/ML trends and evaluate how emerging technologies can be applied to improve learning, assessment, and learner support at Masai. Conduct customer (learner / instructor) discovery and validation to ensure product-market fit. Work with marketing, student success, and operations teams to execute product launches, drive adoption, and monitor feedback for iterative improvement. What we're looking for Required Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related; or MBA + strong technical background. 4+ years in product management, with at least 2 years working on AI/ML products Demonstrated success launching and scaling AI-driven products, preferably in education or enterprise-learning environments. Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to balance user needs with technical and business constraints. Proven leadership skills experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders across functions (engineering, design, operations, leadership). Hands-on familiarity with product management methodologies and tools (Agile/Scrum, roadmap planning, analytics, etc.). Excellent communication ability to explain technical AI/ML concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., educators, business and operations teams). Data-driven mindset proficiency in defining and tracking KPIs; comfortable with analytics tools. Empathy toward learners genuine interest in education, learning outcomes, accessibility, inclusive design, learner success. Preferred Prior experience building AI products in EdTech or upskilling platforms. Strong technical fluency (can deep-dive with engineering/data-science teams without losing sight of business/learner needs). Prior involvement in AI governance, ethics frameworks, data privacy compliance. Experience working for an Indian or APAC-focused product, understanding local learner needs, languages, socio-economic contexts. History of thought leadership publications, speaking engagements, community contributions in AI or EdTech. Skills: communication,ownership,problem solving
