Job Description – Tester (Treasury Trading Platform – FM Converge)

Role: QA / Test Analyst – Treasury Trading Platform (FM Converge)

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 4–10 years

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA professional to join our Treasury Technology team and support the testing of FM Converge, our front-to-back Treasury trading platform. The role involves validating end-to-end trading workflows, ensuring system stability, and verifying compliance with regulatory and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for FM Converge.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing for treasury products (FX, MM, Derivatives, Bonds, Swaps, etc.).
- Validate front-to-back workflows across trading, risk, settlements, confirmations, and accounting.
- Work closely with business analysts, traders, and developers to understand requirements and map them into test coverage.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk policies, and regulatory standards (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, EMIR).
- Contribute to test automation frameworks (if applicable) and drive automation of regression packs.
- Manage defects end-to-end: logging, tracking, retesting, and closure in tools like JIRA/ALM.
- Support release cycles, test environment management, and production verification.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong Treasury / Capital Markets product knowledge – FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Swaps, Options, Derivatives.
- Hands-on testing experience with Treasury trading platforms (preferably FM Converge; Murex, Calypso, Kondor+, or similar).
- Good understanding of trade lifecycle – deal capture, pricing, risk, settlements, confirmations, accounting.
- Experience in test design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, or Python-based test automation) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation and reconciliation.
- Exposure to Agile delivery models and tools like JIRA, Confluence, ALM, or qTest.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

- Prior experience working with FM Converge platform specifically.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, reconciliation, and settlement systems.
- Exposure to cloud-based deployments and DevOps practices (CI/CD).

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (ISTQB, CFA – preferred but not mandatory)
