Senior Test Engineer

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the high-quality delivery of software products. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute comprehensive test plans for applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed test cases and scripts to identify defects in software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management to ensure test coverage and alignment with project requirements.
  • Identify and report defects found during testing, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution and regression testing.
  • Maintain and update test environments, including setup, configuration, and execution of automated tests.
  • Analyze and provide insights on testing metrics and trends to inform future testing strategies and optimize test efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a banking domain.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and agile practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, such as Selenium or Appium, and scripting languages like Python or Java.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing frameworks, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
