🔍 Job Summary As a U.S. Tax Associate, you will assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of clients and industries while developing deep technical tax knowledge. 📌 Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns (corporate, partnership, and individual). - Assist in tax planning and compliance projects. - Analyze and interpret tax laws, regulations, and rulings. - Support senior tax professionals in responding to tax notices and audits. - Conduct tax research using tools such as RIA, CCH, or Bloomberg BNA. - Maintain and update client files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. - Collaborate with audit and advisory teams for tax-related matters. - Ensure timely filing of all required tax documents and forms. ✅ Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus). - CPA or working toward CPA certification preferred. - 0–2 years of relevant tax or accounting experience (internships count). - Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code and reporting requirements. - Proficiency in tax software (e.g., GoSystem, CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar). - Excellent communication and analytical skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
