Job Description

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance activities within the chemical industry to ensure optimal operation of electrical and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate should have a DME or BE degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with 7 to 8 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and perform maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery and plant operations.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in maintenance procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Manage vendor relationships for procurement of spare parts and external services.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance team members.
- Stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques and industry best practices.
