problems and transform that into a solution design Who are youxe2x80xa6You are a Cloud Engineer -Collaborate with Application Development FinOps Cloud Governance and Security teams to help formulate and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy This includes developing frameworks internal standards governing policies and procedures that align with organizational goals Support FinOps initiatives by working closely with finance teams to optimize cloud spending providing insights into cost management and helping to forecast future cloud expenditures Guide application teams by offering technical leadership in cloud architecture ensuring that solutions are design for optimal deployment security performance and high availability Develop and maintain a balanced cloud governance framework based on industry standards ensuring compliance with security protocols and other regulatory requirements Evaluate and implement proof-of-concepts for emerging cloud services and technologies ensuring that the organization stays ahead of industry trends Drive cloud adoption and innovation by exploring new cloud services finding opportunities to demonstrate them for business growth and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems Collaborate with teams on new and existing business technology solutions ensuring they align with established standards and contribute to long-term cloud strategy Perform regular cloud cost reviews and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce waste Mentor and support teams in understanding cloud technologies standard methodologies and of cloud computing capabilities and limitations business drivers virtualization technologies Infrastructure as a Service Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery modelsA strong ability to learn new technologiesThorough understanding of system and infrastructure management in the Cloud environment Linux Windows servers firewalls load balancers hypervisors storage monitoring security etc Experience with cloud infrastructure and services GCP AWS etc Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine Cloud Storage Cloud SQL BigQuery and Kubernetes Engine Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2 S3 RDS and Lambda is acceptable and can be considered as a good foundation for the required GCP expertiseProficiency in configuring and handling virtual networks including VPC subnets and firewall rules Experience handling infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools Terraform Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python Bash etc for automating cloud operations Command of software automation production systems GitHub Selenium etc Good understanding of security principles and standard methodologies including identity and access management encryption and compliance requirements What we ll needxe2x80xa6 Preferred Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering Google Cloud Architect within 1 Year Preferred or AWS Certified Solution Architect - Professional Experience in architecting implementing and handling multi-cloud environments Understanding of infrastructure correlations with knowledge of servers networking AD security etcProficiency in handling and optimizing cloud costs using tools like Google Cloud s Cost Management tools or AWS Cost Explorer and other Finops methodologies Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes Understanding of or ability to design solutions across on-premise and multiple public cloud
