Position Overview:

Tesseract Esports is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join our team. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our companys computer systems and networks, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, providing crucial technical support and assistance to our employees.

Youll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies and platforms, including hardware, software, and networking. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and troubleshooting any issues that arise, implementing and managing security measures to protect our organizations digital assets, and staying current with the latest technology trends. Responsibilities:

- Manage and troubleshoot the companys computer systems and networks to ensure continuous, reliable operation.
- Install and configure hardware and software, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.
- Provide technical support to employees, diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and network issues.
- Maintain and update documentation of IT processes and procedures to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Monitor and maintain system and network security, including firewall management and user access controls.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity to safeguard the organizations digital assets.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and recommend potential upgrades and improvements to enhance IT infrastructure.

Qualifications (Required):

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in IT administration.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT administration, ideally in a fast-paced and dynamic environment like esports.
- Solid working knowledge of computer systems and networks, including hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively communicating technical information to non-technical users.
- Knowledge of network protocols and security standards.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications (Preferred):

- Relevant IT certifications, such as CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), are a plus.
