Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to end-users ensuring smooth IT operations The role involves installation configuration troubleshooting and maintenance of desktops laptops printers and other IT equipment Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support for hardware software and networking issues Install configure and maintain desktops laptops operating systems and applications Troubleshoot problems related to printers scanners email MS Office and internet connectivity Set up and manage user accounts permissions and access rights Coordinate with network and server teams for escalated issues Ensure timely resolution of tickets through remote or onsite support Perform regular system updates antivirus checks and data backups Document issues resolutions and prepare reports for management Educate users on IT best practices and security awareness Requirements Bachelor s degree in IT Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer IT Support Engineer Strong knowledge of Windows OS MS Office Outlook and basic networking Familiarity with Active Directory LAN WAN VPN and remote desktop tools Excellent problem-solving communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks Preferred Skills Knowledge of ticketing tools Jira ServiceNow etc Basic understanding of server cloud platforms Relevant certifications e g CompTIA A Microsoft ITIL are a plus Job Type Permanent Pay 12 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month
