Hyderabad Bengaluru Site Reliability Engineering - Infrastructure Full Time Hybrid Senior Network Engineer Based in Hyderabad or Bangalore Hybrid role Security and SDWAN expertise Why Pythian At Pythian we are experts in strategic database and analytics services driving digital transformation and operational excellence Pythian a multinational company was founded in 1997 and started by ensuring the reliability and performance of mission-critical databases We quickly earned a reputation for solving tough data challenges We were there when the industry moved from on-premises to cloud environments and as enterprises sought more from their data we expanded our competencies to include advanced analytics Today we empower organizations to embrace transformation and leverage advanced technologies including AI to stay competitive We deliver innovative solutions that meet each client s data goals and have built strong partnerships with Google Cloud AWS Microsoft Oracle SAP and Snowflake The powerful combination of our extensive expertise in data and cloud and our ability to keep on top of the latest bleeding edge technologies make us the perfect partner to help mid and large-sized businesses transform to stay ahead in today s rapidly changing digital economy Why you As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for providing 24 7 network support to clients across the globe We are looking for candidates with a proven track record and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment particularly those experienced in enterprise network operations and handling escalations and severe cases If this is you and you wonder what it would be like to work at Pythian reach out to us and find out Intrigued to see what a life is like at Pythian Check out pythianlife on and follow on Instagram Not the right job for you Check out what other great jobs Pythian has open around the world What you will be doing Strong hands-on experience in handling troubleshooting network and security-related issues In-depth knowledge of Cisco ASA and FTD platforms including installation configuration management and troubleshooting Evaluate diverse security risks in a fast-moving environment and be technically capable of suggesting and carrying out remediation in accordance with Cisco s security policies and standards Implement security measures on network infrastructure such as firewalls VPNs intrusion detection and prevention systems and security policies Create and implement security policies access control lists ACLs and NAT rules to ensure secure communication across the network Implement and configure VPN technologies including site-to-site and remote access VPNs using ASA and FTD Experience with SSL certificate management including CSR generation certificate renewal installation and troubleshooting Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues related to ASA and FTD firewalls Provide support for network security incidents including malware detection DDoS attacks and firewall policy conflicts Expert knowledge of advanced security features such as intrusion prevention URL filtering and malware analysis Good to have experience on any Software Defined Networking solution i e Cisco Viptela Versa SD-WAN Configure network policies application performance optimization and dynamic path selection using SD-WAN Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SD-WAN including connectivity security policies and application performance Implement security policies and ensure secure communication between SD-WAN sites using Versa s integrated security features such as encryption secure tunnelling and firewall integration Independently drive P2 P1 Technical calls from the network s end demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to de-escalate situations and provide clear concise updates to clients Excellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to handle and manage client interactions and escalations independently ensuring client satisfaction and timely resolution of critical issues Work in a billable environment and achieve those targets associated with your position What do we need from you 5 -
