Title BA QA Location Hyderabad Pune Bangalore Exp 7-10 years Responsibilities Domain Expertise Knowledge Transfer o Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert SME for all aspects of retail trading including asset classes stocks options futures etc order types market limit stop etc options strategies spreads straddles etc charting and market data o Provide in-depth functional training and knowledge transfer to the functional testing team ensuring a thorough understanding of the trading platform s features and functionalities o Stay abreast of industry trends regulatory changes and new trading technologies to maintain and enhance domain expertise Test Strategy Execution o Collaborate with product managers developers and testers to define and refine functional testing strategies based on business requirements and user stories o Review and validate test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure completeness accuracy and alignment with domain knowledge o Provide guidance and oversight during test execution troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely resolution o Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on functional defects and areas for improvement Team Leadership Mentorship o Lead and mentor a team of functional testers fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment o Provide technical guidance and support to team members promoting continuous learning and professional development o Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the testing team and other stakeholders o Help train new team members Quality Assurance Process Improvement o Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and best practices o Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the functional testing process o Participate in defect triage meetings Qualifications 7-10 years of experience working in software development programs with a significant focus on retail trading applications Extensive and demonstrable expertise in all aspects of retail trading including o Asset classes stocks options futures forex etc o Order types market limit stop stop-limit etc o Options strategies spreads straddles strangles etc o Technical analysis and charting tools o Market data and real-time feeds o Trading regulations Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills Proven ability to lead and mentor a team Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Experience with test management tools e g Jira TestRail is a plus Experience with automated testing is a plus Bachelor s degree in Finance Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience Desired Attributes Passion for retail trading and financial markets Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships
