Senior Consultant

Job Description Model N is seeking a highly motivated individual with demonstrated experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The selected candidate will be a part of Application Services projects by supporting requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and implementation activities. The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing Functional deliverables of Application Services projects, ensuring adherence to methodologies such as Project Life Cycle, SDLC, and Change Management. This role acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirement gathering, solution design, and successful implementation through testing and validation. Job Description - Demonstrate strong knowledge of IS methodologies and processes (Project Life Cycle, SDLC, Change Management) - Own project deliverables from start to finish - Gather, document, and communicate detailed business and functional requirements - Facilitate requirement reviews, approvals, and sign-offs - Translate approved requirements into actionable solutions for development teams - Plan and execute SIT cycles, end-user testing, and validate solutions against business needs - Communicate effectively with stakeholders for requirements, SIT, UAT, and training - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Professional Services & Product Development) to identify and resolve issues on time - Manage live production issues and support implementation cycles - Database and SQL knowledge to validate backend data during testing - Knowledge of manual testing techniques and the ability to write and execute test Scenarios - Database and SQL knowledge to validate backend data during testing - Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail to identify bugs and understand their impact - Support Automated Testing Initiatives with standard or in-house tools Competencies - 46 years of experience, including at least 2 years in implementation, development, or QA - Proven experience with computer systems, applications, and testing methodologies - Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC best practices; proficiency in UML - Exposure to Automated Testing Tools like Selenium and SQL will be an added advantage - Skilled in presentation, facilitation, and documentation techniques. - Expertise in test case design, execution, and maintaining the Requirement Traceability Matrix. - Experience in handling live production issues and test cycle planning. - Experience as Lead BA and customer-facing role, excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. - Effective negotiation and relationship-building across teams. - Adaptability and flexibility to changing business needs. - BE/BTech or ME/ MTech.
