Key Responsibilities
Act as the
primary domain expert
on paper manufacturing processes, equipment, raw materials, and quality standards.
Analyze
production, yield, and quality data
to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
Design and implement
process optimization strategies
using analytics and industry best practices.
Collaborate with client stakeholders, plant operations, and cross-functional teams to drive measurable improvements in efficiency, sustainability, and cost.
Provide
technical consultation and training
to internal teams for knowledge transfer and capability building.
Ensure adherence to
safety, compliance, and environmental sustainability
standards relevant to the paper industry.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience
(4+ years preferred) in paper manufacturing, process engineering, or related industries (e.g., pulp, packaging, specialty papers).
Prior exposure to
companies like JK Paper, ITC Paperboards, BILT, WestRock, or Sonoco
is highly desirable.
Strong
analytics and data skills : proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Python, or other analytical tools.
Deep understanding of
manufacturing KPIs
(yield, throughput, OEE, cost per ton, energy optimization).
Familiarity with
industry regulations, sustainability practices, and lean manufacturing methods .
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
