Job Title Engineer - Mechanical Design Location Greater Noida Company Lotus Advance Technologies Pvt Ltd Job Overview The Mechanical Designer specializing in SolidCAM Software will be a key member of our engineering and design team responsible for using SolidCAM to create optimize and implement precision machining processes for our projects This role requires a deep understanding of SolidCAM software mechanical design principles and a passion for achieving the highest standards in manufacturing excellence Key Responsibilities SolidCAM Programming Utilize SolidCAM software to create and optimize CNC programs for various machining processes including milling turning and multi-axis machining Develop post-processors and tool libraries to improve efficiency and accuracy in programming Ensure CNC programs are error-free and optimized for speed precision and quality Collaboration and Design Integration Work closely with design engineers to understand project requirements and translate 3D models into effective machining strategies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SolidCAM with other CAD CAM systems and tools Provide expert advice and guidance on the manufacturability and efficiency of mechanical designs Toolpath Optimization Create and fine-tune toolpaths for CNC machining to maximize efficiency while maintaining high quality and precision Continuously analyze and improve toolpath strategies taking into account machine capabilities and material properties Implement high-speed machining and other advanced techniques to enhance productivity Quality Assurance Perform rigorous testing and simulation to validate CNC programs and ensure that they meet quality standards Identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies in the machining processes Conduct first-article inspections and implement corrective actions as needed Documentation and Training Prepare comprehensive documentation including work instructions tool lists and setup sheets Provide training and support to machine operators and other team members on the correct setup and operation of CNC machines Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in SolidCAM software Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field 5 years of experience in mechanical design and CNC programming with a strong emphasis on SolidCAM Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software In-depth knowledge of CNC machining processes tooling and materials Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize machining processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adept at working in a fast-paced dynamic environment Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 35 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Supplemental pay types Performance bonus Experience total work 4 years Required Work Location In person
