JavaScript Automation LeadTechnology Sub-technology Test Automation JavaScript Selenium Framework Base Location Bangalore Type Hybrid Experience Range 5 to 7 Years Education Qualification Bachelor of Engineering Masters in Computer Science or any equivalent degree Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced JavaScript Automation Lead to design develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for web and mobile applications You will work closely with development and QA teams proactively improve automation strategies and contribute to overall product quality Roles and Responsibilities Own the QA automation of one or more applications end-to-end Design develop and maintain robust JavaScript-based automation scripts Perform failure analysis of test automation in CI CD pipelines and derive meaningful insights Ensure high quality standards and best practices in automation frameworks Proactively identify and implement improvements in automation tools and processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers QA engineers and product owners Contribute independently and mentor junior team members Support global teams including attending periodic US time zone meetings Must Have Skills Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Object-Oriented Programming Hands-on experience in UI automation using Selenium and Appium Proficiency in test automation frameworks using Mocha Chai or similar Experience with WebDriver Automation Testing and Software Testing Familiarity with Jenkins and CI tools for test automation execution Proficient with tools such as Git Test Management Software and Bug Tracking Software Good to Have Skills Exposure to CI CD and DevOps pipelines Experience in mobile application testing Strong understanding of testing methodologies Agile Scrum Kanban Ability to evaluate and recommend automation tools and frameworks Domain knowledge and relevant certifications Soft Skills Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High accountability and ownership Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to deliver quality Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure Effective collaboration with cross-functional and remote teams Key Performance Indicators KPIs Adherence to coding standards and automation best practices Timely delivery of test scripts and automation solutions Number of bugs or issues detected pre- and post-delivery Contribution to reusable test automation components and libraries Participation in compliance and process trainings Keywords JavaScript Selenium Automation WebDriver Jenkins Appium Test Automation QA CI CD Test Scripts Software Testing JavaScript FrameworksSkills Javascript Selenium automation Webdriver JenkinsAbout Company UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider For more than 20 years UST has worked side by side with the worlds best companies to make a real impact through transformation Powered by technology inspired by people and led by purpose UST partners with their clients from design to operation With deep domain expertise and a future-proof philosophy UST embeds innovation and agility into their clients organizations With over 30 000 employees in 30 countries UST builds for boundless impactxe2x80x94touching billions of lives in the process
