Supa Ahmednagar Maharashtra India Department BESS RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT Job posted on Jun 16 2025 Employment type REGULAR JOB DESCRIPTIONSECTION I BASIC INFORMATION ON THE ROLE Position Name AGM Electronics Function Line of Business BESS R D Grade Reporting to Functionally Administratively Roles Reporting into No of employees Role Description SECTION II JOB SUMMARY The AGM - Electronics R D BESS will lead the development of electronic systems for advanced battery energy storage products The role includes managing teams focused on power electronics embedded systems BMS Battery Management Systems and control systems This position plays a critical role in innovating and delivering safe efficient and scalable BESS solutions SECTION III DO - KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE Perspective Responsibility Job Responsibilities Design and implement Battery Management Systems for various projects Develop algorithms for battery state estimation including state of charge SoC and state of health SoH Conduct cell balancing strategies to ensure optimal battery performance and longevity Perform testing and validation of BMS hardware and software Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate BMS into energy storage systems Monitor system performance and propose improvements for efficiency and reliability Prepare documentation and reports on BMS designs and performance metrics Prepare technical manuals and documentation related to BMS and associated components Should have understanding of components used in the systems and having good knowledge of product categories standards and tools such as CATIA ALTIUM AUTO CAD for layout should have knowledge of integration of electronics items such as FFS EMS SECTION IV DELIVER - KEY OUTPUTS RESULTS FROM THE ROLE Key Performance Indicators KPI What are the measurable indicators for the role Measurable Deliverables Should have skillful knowledge on circuit designs and assembly codings Should have capability to remove glitches in the module bugs and capable of working orcad or altimum to trace product designs and validations for product selections SECTION V DISPLAY - KNOWLEDGE SKILLS In this section please mention the qualification technical skills and capabilities which are essential to execute the role It may be a reflection of your own qualification and skills Qualification and technical skills required to execute the role Please mention any functional knowledge E g PhD in xyz QualificationsBachelor s or Master s in Electrical Electronics Engineering Technical Skills MS Office Project Knowledge of SAP is preferred Experience levels required to execute this role E g 2-5 yrs of experience as an Electrical Engineering in Battery Solar Grid Specific Experience 14-20 years in Power Electronics Embedded Systems or BESS Over all Experience 14-20 years in Power Electronics Embedded Systems or BESS Behavioral skills competencies required for the role E g Attention to detail Behavioral Skills Experience in designing for utility-scale or C I storage systems Knowledge of thermal and mechanical design constraints for electronics Familiarity with digital control techniques DSPs FPGAs and real-time systems Strong documentation communication and project management skills SECTION V KEY INTERACTIONS Mention names of the roles which are not in your department with whom this role interacts Key Interaction - Internal Nature or purpose of interaction Team Members and Inter-departmental members Seek instructions provide technical advice Keep them informed of progress
