About the Role Product Manager (AI Healthcare Products)

We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager to lead the evolution of our AI-powered healthcare tools:

- EkaScribe AI medical scribe for automated clinical documentation
- DocAssist Real-time clinical decision support and smart assistant for doctors

This role is ideal for someone with 25 years of experience who can combine AI prompt design skills with product thinking, enjoys working closely with doctors, and thrives in fast-paced, iterative development environments.

You will work with clinicians, engineers, AI scientists, and designers to deliver clinically accurate, easy-to-use, and delightful experiences.

Key Responsibilities1. AI-First Product Development

- Translate clinical workflows into AI-enabled user journeys.
- Collaborate with data science teams on prompt engineering, LLM output tuning, and multi-step prompt logic.
- Run experiments to test model responses and fine-tune prompts for accuracy, safety, and relevance.

2. Product Discovery & Design

- Engage with doctors and clinical staff to capture requirements and pain points.
- Convert insights into PRDs, user stories, and wireframes with the design team.
- Define acceptance criteria covering both UX and AI output quality.

3. Delivery & Iteration

- Work with engineering to ship features on time with high quality.
- Track adoption, usage analytics, and model performance (accuracy, hallucination rate, response time).
- Prioritize improvements based on clinical feedback and AI evaluation data.

4. Clinical & Regulatory Context

- Ensure AI outputs follow evidence-based guidelines and are clinically safe.
- Stay informed on compliance standards (HIPAA, NABH, NDHM/ABDM).
- Design explainable AI interactions to build clinician trust.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

- 35 years in product management, AI products, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience in prompt engineering, AI interaction design, or LLM workflows.
- Strong analytical skills to test hypotheses using both data and user feedback.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable with doctors and tech teams.

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with healthcare products, EMR/HIMS, or clinical documentation.
- Knowledge of medical NLP, speech-to-text, or summarization models.
- Familiarity with HL7/FHIR integrations.

- Optimised prompts for accuracy, speed, and clinical trust.
- New features measurably improve doctor productivity and documentation quality.
- AI evaluation loop is embedded into product development.
- High clinician satisfaction and adoption of EkaScribe & DocAssist.
