Design Plan implement and support Continue to improve technology recovery strategy and process for Cloud engineering activities Assist with medium to high-level troubleshooting leveraging various Cloud services to identify root cause Work with vendors as needed to resolve issues Own and lead deep dive for complex Critical issues and ensure timely resolution Manage stakeholders and communication of high impact cloud related issues Work with project teams and vendors to provide cloud platform design and optimization recommendations Assist with project planning execution and implementation of cloud related projects Provide inputs to IT financial management for cloud - on costs associated with capacity build-out forecast for cloud IT investments etc Drive optimization and innovation projects in Cloud area suggesting novel solutions for the issues Continue improving cloud product reliability availability maintainability cost benefit- incl developing fault-tolerant tools to ensure general robustness of the cloud infra Responsible for managing capacity across public and private cloud resource pools- incl automating scale down up of environments Support cloud developers in optimizing and automating cloud engineering activities - e g migration provisioning and deployment etc Provide inputs to IT financial management for cloud - on costs associated with capacity build-out forecast for cloud IT investments etc Understand the vision of the business as well as IT Infra future technology and relate it with existing set up and prepare business case for adopting the same Plan the IT Infra Digital transformation and drive till execution Drive the technical capability of team and train Administrative or other duties as assigned or required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience or exposure to multiple knowledge proficiencies including Proficiency in at least one major public cloud platform AWS Azure GCP including a deep understanding of their services and capabilities Proven experience leading Enterprise scale cloud migration projects to Public Cloud AWS Azure GCP preferred Proven track record of leading large-scale infrastructure upgrades and migrations in the Platform infrastructure area Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform to manage and automate infrastructure provisioning Experience with container technologies Docker and container orchestration platforms Kubernetes Docker Swarm Experience designing implementing and maintaining CI CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automating tasks and managing infrastructure Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPCs subnets routing and firewalls Experience implementing security best practices in cloud environments including identity and access management IAM security groups and network security Experience with Linux and or Windows server administration Proven ability in setting up observability using tools like Datadog Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams Proven experience working in agile environments participating in sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and other agile ceremonies Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers providing guidance training and support Experience managing projects and teams is desirable Experience with security best practices in a cloud environment is crucial Hands-on experience designing building and maintaining cloud infrastructure components across compute network storage virtualization and container orchestration e g Kubernetes Actively coaches and mentors junior engineers providing technical guidance and fostering their professional growth Motivates and challenges peers Proactively identifies and analyzes operational inefficiencies and technical challenges within the cloud infrastructure Takes initiative to develop and implement solutions that improve team effectiveness optimize processes and enhance overall system reliability Develops value-adding insights tools and strategies Develops innovative solutions tools and strategies to improve cloud infrastructure efficiency scalability and security Actively seeks out and incorporates new technologies and best practices from both internal and external sources to enhance the team s capabilities Presents information and data in a manner appropriate for the audience Presents complex technical information and data clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences tailoring communication style to ensure effective understanding and engagement Self-directed and accepts responsibility for his her own work Aligns individual and team priorities with overall business strategy and vision ensuring that cloud infrastructure initiatives directly support organizational goals Demonstrates self-direction initiative and accountability for individual work and the overall success of team projects Takes ownership of tasks and proactively addresses challenges to ensure timely and high-quality delivery Proven experience driving digital transformation initiatives including the adoption of new technologies and architectures Mandatory Skills Any Public Cloud AWS Azure GCP Terraform Datadog Identity and access management IAM Linux and or Windows server administration container orchestration e g Kubernetes Enterprise scale cloud migration CI CD Tools Networking Concepts VPC Security Groups Python PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 10 Years experience in supporting delivering complex IT solutions Major Area of Study -
