As part of the multibillion-dollar diversified CKA Birla Group, Birlasoft with its 12,000+ professionals, is committed to continuing the Group's 170-year heritage of building sustainable communities. - About the Job Ability to relate the product functionality to business processes, and thus offer implementation advice to customers on how to meet their various business scenarios. - Job Title Oracle EBS MFG Consultant - Location: Bangalore/Pune/Mumbai/Noida/Hyderabad/Chennai - Educational Background BE/Btech - Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end Oracle EBS Manufacturing functional engagements, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing. - Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, guiding them on best practices and EBS capabilities. - Own and deliver key modules such as: - Work in Process (WIP) - Bills of Material (BOM) - Engineering (ENG) - Inventory (INV) - Routing & Resources - Costing - Quality - Design and architect manufacturing solutions aligned with business requirements and integrated processes. - Prepare and review functional documents (MD050), solution specs, and UAT scenarios. - Collaborate closely with technical teamsvalidate MD070, ensure accuracy of RICE components, and support SIT/UAT cycles. - Provide advanced troubleshooting, RCA, and resolution for production issues across manufacturing flows. - Drive enhancements, patch assessments, regressions, and EBS upgrade activities. - Mentor junior functional consultants and support team members as needed. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Planning, Costing, Finance) to ensure seamless integrations. - Lead user training, CRP workshops, and stakeholder presentations. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience - 7+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant in Manufacturing modules. - Strong expertise in EBS R12 Manufacturingincluding BOM, WIP, Routing, Resources, Inventory, and Engineering. - Deep understanding of Discrete Manufacturing processes, shop floor operations, and material flow. - Proven experience working as a module lead or functional lead. - Ability to drive business discussions, solution design workshops, and manage stakeholder expectations. - Strong experience writing functional specifications (MD050) and coordinating with technical teams. - Good understanding of integration points with SCM (Purchasing, Inventory), Planning (MRP/ASCP), and Finance (Costing, GL). - Strong problem-solving skills with experience in production support and issue triage. - Excellent communication skills with experience interacting with global business teams and IT leadership.
