Job Description You will lead the Tax Reporting and Compliance processes for multiple countries within Magnum Ice Cream, offering significant exposure to various Tax and Finance Teams, as well as other Global Business Services teams, fostering wide-ranging interactions with diverse stakeholders. Your primary tax responsibilities will encompass VAT/GST, withholding taxes, corporate income taxes, transfer pricing, and group tax reporting. You will be responsible for the reporting and compliance of legal entities within one of our four Business Groups: Americas, Europe/ANZ, METSA (Middle East, Turkey South Asia), or Asia. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead your team of 4-5 FTEs in the preparation for tax returns (including data preparation and analysis); manage the end-to-end process with a strong focus on data hygiene (master data and transactional data). - Coordinate with Finance Tax Teams for all tax matters and reporting requirements. - Coordinate with our third-party outsource provider, ensuring effective information flow and tracking progress against defined processes. - Ensure adherence to controls in accordance with our controls framework. - Ensure timely tax-related payments to government/tax authorities in respective countries. - Work closely with global tax teams and the Outsourced Service Provider regarding the latest changes/amendments in various direct tax laws worldwide. - Provide clear and concise explanations of tax data to relevant stakeholders. - Support in-country tax audits by providing necessary documentation, data support, and data analysis. - Regularly review processes, agree on preventive actions and improvements, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and provide recommendations for best-in-class processes. - Deploy tools and technology to enhance process efficiencies, including optimal utilization of S4HANA capabilities. - Ensure all agreed KPIs related to the submission of tax returns are met (e.g., on-time, accurate, and complete preparation and submission of tax returns and reporting). WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: - Experiences & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting. - Experience in a Global Services Centre. - Knowledge of SAP (ideally S4HANA). - Good knowledge of accounting and tax, with 5-6 years of experience in a Tax/Accounting role. - Ability to work collaboratively across an organization and externally to resolve issues; strong stakeholder management skills. - Naturally curious with a strong continuous improvement mindset and the ability to be agile/adaptable in changing circumstances. - Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle a variety of tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines. - Great attention to detail, project management, and problem-solving attitude. - Experience leading a team.
