The Growth/ Category Manager will play a crucial role in setting the right targets for the sales team and work closely with both sales and marketing teams to ensure the set targets are met. Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the business team to define and align on strategic growth targets.
- Determine the optimal number of required leads across different channels (walk-in, digital, etc.).
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns along with the marketing team, ensuring continuous performance monitoring and optimization.
- Enhance the lead nurturing process by designing and implementing effective lead management systems to improve cost efficiency.
- Drive the sales team, in collaboration with the Head of Sales, to maximize lead-to-trial conversion rates.
- Work closely with product, marketing communications, and sales teams to improve trial booking and attendance rates.
- Lead initiatives in the sporting division to increase trial-to-conversion ratios.
- Partner with product and sales teams to develop renewal and upgrade strategies, enhancing customer retention and revenue growth.
Skills we are looking for
- Proven ability to design and manage comprehensive business model and executing the same
- Experience in building and optimizing lead management systems (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence senior executives, including Sales Heads, Marketing Heads, Sporting Directors, and CXOs.
- Data-driven mindset with a strong analytical approach to decision-making.
- High level of intellectual honesty—comfortable acknowledging known strengths and limitations.
- Highly motivated professional with a strong emphasis on career growth and personal development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in category roles, marketing, growth or business roles.
- Experience in process improvement projects
- B.Tech in IITs or Masters in IIM/ISB preferred
