Role Objective: Lead product discovery and validation for AI-native ventures across multiple sectors in the CVA pod, owning problem discovery & validation, pilots and prototypes, turning validated problems into scoped MVPs with clear success metrics for studio investment committee review. Who's it for This role suits hands-on AI builders who thrive in uncertainty, validate on the ground through pilots and prototypes, drive evidence-based iteration, and bring curiosity and growth mindset to explore diverse sectors for studio-scale venture creation. Key responsibilities: 1. Conduct customer discovery, jobs-to-be-done analysis, and hypothesis testing for 3-5 concurrent AI venture concepts spanning health tech, wellness, travel, marketplaces, and other emerging sectors (sector agnostic). 2. Design and execute pilots and low-fidelity prototypes to test solution feasibility with real users, iterating based on quantitative/qualitative feedback. 3. Define lean PRDs, prioritize experiments, and scope MVPs with AI-specific evaluation frameworks (accuracy, latency, cost thresholds). 4. Collaborate with the AI Engineer on prototype feasibility and technical validation, translate insights into actionable priorities for rapid validation. 5. Communicate results, pivots, and learnings to CVA and IC through crisp decks and metrics dashboards. You are an ideal candidate if you have/ are: - 46 years as Product Manager/Owner in startups, studios with exposure to AI-focused teams, with hands-on AI product launches across multiple sectors. - Proven experience designing MVPs, running hypothesis-driven experiments (A/B tests, user interviews), and leading pilots/prototypes to validate new products, preferably using probabilistic AI systems/solutions. - Strong analytical skills for metrics interpretation (PMF signals, activation, retention) and bias for action in ambiguous discovery phases. - High ownership, entrepreneurial attitude, curiosity for exploration across sectors, and a growth mindset to rapidly learn new domains. Comfort bridging business goals with ML capabilities. Domain expertise and experience: AI-native products across sectors like health tech, wellness services, marketplaces, and adjacent verticals; familiarity with LLMs, agentic workflows, and no-code/low-code stacks (Lovable, Supabase, n8n). Comfort navigating diverse sectors with curiosity for exploration and a growth mindset. Must-Haves - 46 years as Product Manager/Owner in startups, studios with exposure to AI-focused teams, with hands-on AI product launches across multiple sectors. - Proven experience designing MVPs, running hypothesis-driven experiments (A/B tests, user interviews), and leading pilots/prototypes to validate new products, preferably using probabilistic AI systems/solutions. - Strong analytical skills for metrics interpretation (PMF signals, activation, retention) and bias for action in ambiguous discovery phases. - High ownership, entrepreneurial attitude, curiosity for exploration across sectors, and a growth mindset to rapidly learn new domains. Good-to-Haves - Prior venture studio or builder experience in discovery-to-MVP handoffs across varied sectors. - Proficiency in AI prototyping tools (V0, Lovable, Cursor) and running user pilots. - Exposure to unit economics modeling or GTM hypothesis testing in subscription/marketplace models. Qualifications: - Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related quantitative field. - Preferably a Master's in Business (MBA) or Product/Tech Management, or equivalent experience in product roles.
