Overview

A Magento 2 Software Engineer who can develop, maintain, and enhance online stores built on the Magento 2 e-commerce platform. This role requires backend development skills, along with experience in customizing and extending Magento's functionality through modules and extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop custom modules, extensions, and themes for Magento 2 websites.
- Customize and extend Magento functionality to meet specific business needs.
- Integrate third-party systems and APIs with Magento platforms.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support, including version upgrades and security patches.
- Optimize website, APIs performance.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code and website performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to align with project goals.
- Stay current with the latest Magento releases and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in Magento Commerce 2.x PHP, MySQL, NodeJs.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Magento 2 platform, including modules, extensions, and payment methods.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficiency in Git and other version control systems.
- Experience with API integration and web services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
