Role Description We are looking for a Magento Developer/Expert to join our growing digital team and work on high-performance e Commerce solutions. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Magento-based websites and applications, ensuring scalable, secure, and user-friendly experiences for customers. This includes front-end and back-end development, working with object-oriented programming (OOP), and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in Magento (Adobe Commerce) and a proven track record of delivering professional-grade e Commerce solutions. While Magento is the core focus, priority will be given to candidates who are also experts in Word Press Development(For Corporate Websites) , capable of building, integrating, and maintaining websites, blogs, and content platforms alongside e Commerce platform. This is a contract/part-time opportunity with a monthly fixed-salaried role ranging between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000 , to be performed remotely in India . Key Responsibilities 1. Magento Development Design, develop, and deploy Magento 2-based e Commerce platforms with custom themes, modules, and extensions. Optimize performance, scalability, and security across the Magento ecosystem. Maintain and upgrade Magento systems, ensuring compatibility with latest versions and security patches. Implement integrations with payment gateways, shipping providers, ERP/CRM, and third-party APIs. 2. Word Press Development (Bonus Skill): Build and manage Word Press websites including custom themes, plugins, and integrations. Collaborate with marketing and content teams to maintain SEO-friendly, responsive, and visually engaging websites. Ensure seamless integration between Word Press sites and Magento e Commerce solutions where required. 3. Technical Support & Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (designers, marketers, product managers) to deliver end-to-end solutions. Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide long-term fixes. Ensure all solutions meet business needs while maintaining code quality and best practices. 4. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Magento and Word Press best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Recommend new tools, frameworks, or processes to improve site performance and user experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or related field. 2+ years of professional experience in Magento development (Magento 2 preferred). Strong proficiency in PHP, My SQL, Java Script, HTML, CSS, and XML . Experience in developing and customizing Magento themes, modules, and extensions . Familiarity with Magento architecture (MVC, ORM, EAV models) and performance optimization. Experience with Word Press Development , including theme/plugin creation and customization. Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, third-party integrations, and version control systems (Git). Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setup. Nice to Have Experience with Adobe Commerce (Cloud Edition). Familiarity with Linux servers, Nginx/Apache, and cloud hosting environments (AWS, Digital Ocean, etc.). Understanding of SEO, UI/UX, and responsive design principles . Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies . Knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker .
