Position Machine Shop Manager Experience 8-10 years Industry Foundry Machining Heavy Engineering Fabrication Reports To - Foundry Head Role Overview Responsible for in-house machining operations and development of external machining suppliers Key focus on process planning tooling optimization quality improvement and timely delivery of machined castings Key Responsibilities Plan and supervise machining operations CNC VMC turning milling drilling boring grinding Develop process sheets cycle times and machining programs with production design teams Ensure tooling fixture selection and cutting parameter optimization for cost and quality Manage and develop external machining suppliers through evaluation audits and performance monitoring Drive productivity improvements reduce rework and support new product development Implement 5S safety lean practices and preventive maintenance Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of CNC VMC machining processes Ability to interpret engineering drawings Experience in tooling fixture design cutting tools and machining parameters Proven supplier management and development skills Preferred Knowledge of CAD CAM lean tools systems Qualifications B E B Tech Mechanical Production Manufacturing or Diploma with strong experience 8-10 years in a foundry fabrication machine shop with supplier development exposure Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 70 000 00 - 100 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Commuter assistance Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Experience Machine Shop Operation 8 years Preferred Work Location In person
