General Manager, Sales & Operations
Amrit Absorbent & Products LLP, a leading FMCG manufacturing company specializing in pulses, flour, and grains, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager, Sales & Operations. Based in Khandwa, this role is critical for our continued growth and success. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in the FMCG industry, especially within the pulses and flour sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our market share and achieve ambitious sales targets. You'll be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from cultivating new leads to closing major deals.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners. Your ability to negotiate effectively and understand client needs is paramount.
Operational Oversight: Oversee all daily business operations, including logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control. You'll ensure our operational processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with our company goals.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate both the sales and operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving excellence.
Market Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and refine our strategies.
Travel: Travel extensively to meet with clients and support our sales initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: A postgraduate degree in MBA is mandatory.
Experience: At least 5-7 years of proven work experience in a sales and operations leadership role within the FMCG sector, with a strong focus on the pulses and flour industries.
Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. A deep understanding of sales and operational processes is essential.
Mobility: Must be willing and able to travel frequently.
