About the Role We are looking for an experienced .NET Backend Developer to join our team and work on a high-impact UK-based project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in backend development, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to collaboration with international stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend systems using .NET Core / .NET 6+. - Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - Work closely with UK-based product owners, business analysts, and frontend teams. - Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. - Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data privacy standards. Required Skills & Experience - 3–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+. - Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles. - Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases (query optimization, stored procedures). - Strong experience in REST API development and integration. - Familiarity with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks. - Working knowledge of Azure / AWS cloud services is a plus. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with UK-based teams. Nice to Have - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or microservices architecture. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments. - Understanding of unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, etc.).
