Job Title: .NET Core Backend Developer Location: Pune, India (Hybrid) Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced .NET Core Backend Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of .NET Core, C#, Web API, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS). You will work closely with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to build high-performance, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications. Roles & Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using .NET Core, C#, and Web APIs. - Implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support modern web and mobile applications. - Work with Entity Framework Core for ORM and data access optimization. - Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems. - Participate in API design, code reviews, and architecture discussions to ensure best practices. - Integrate backend services with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases. - Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in cloud environments (Azure/AWS). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver end-to-end features. - Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards and design patterns. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. - Ensure robust unit testing and maintain code quality using xUnit / NUnit / Moq. Required Skills & Experience - 8+ years of professional experience in backend development using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core. - Strong proficiency in C#, LINQ, and OOP principles. - Hands-on experience with Web API, microservices, and RESTful architecture. - Good understanding of SQL and experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar databases. - Experience in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS (App Services, Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.). - Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus) is a plus. - Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core, Dependency Injection, and Design Patterns (Repository, Unit of Work, etc.). - Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. - Experience in CI/CD, version control (Git), and Agile methodology. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills - Experience with .NET 6/7/8 and latest backend frameworks. - Knowledge of GraphQL, gRPC, or Event-Driven Architecture. - Exposure to frontend frameworks (Angular/React) for integration understanding. - Understanding of DevOps tools and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
