You will lead backend development, guide junior developers, and work closely with product and DevOps teams to build high-performance APIs and data-driven services.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of backend services and APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+Architect solutions with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainabilityCollaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teamsOptimize and manage SQL Server or cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, PostgreSQL)Implement RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing, and background servicesDrive code reviews, mentoring, and best practices across the teamEnsure proper security, logging, and exception handling standardsOwn CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment workflowsStay current with evolving backend and cloud technologiesSkills and Experience5–7 years of professional experience in C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design, SOLID principles, and clean architectureStrong experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL optimizationExperience designing and consuming REST APIsHands-on with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Azure SQLFamiliarity with Microservices architecture and Message Queues (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)Exposure to Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Key Vault, Storage, etc.)Knowledge of CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)Experience with unit testing frameworks like xUnit/NUnit and mocking librariesComfortable with Git, Agile processes, and working in a fast-paced teamGood to HaveExperience with gRPC or GraphQLFamiliarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis)Certifications in Microsoft Azure or .NET developmentWhat you getStrong growth with opportunity to build the engineering team
