Job Title Steward - Food Beverage Service Department Food Beverage Service Reports To Captain F B Manager Location Fragrant Nature Paravur Kollam Job Summary The Steward - F B Service is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in the restaurant banquet bar or other dining areas The role involves ensuring prompt and efficient food beverage service maintaining cleanliness and creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables Present menus explain menu items and take food beverage orders accurately Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring correct portions and presentation Clear tables reset for next guests and maintain cleanliness throughout service Provide recommendations for food and beverage pairings when required Ensure timely refilling of water beverages and bread baskets Follow all hygiene sanitation and safety guidelines as per hotel standards Handle crockery cutlery and glassware carefully to avoid breakages Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas Teamwork Coordination Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely order delivery Assist fellow team members during peak service hours Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the kitchen bar Upselling Revenue Generation Promote special dishes promotions and events to guests Suggest upselling options such as premium beverages desserts and combo meals Skills Competencies Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards Pleasant personality and guest-oriented attitude Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours Qualifications Experience Diploma or certificate in hotel management or F B service preferred 0-2 years of experience in F B service freshers can be trained Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Carry trays and serve food beverages safely Work Environment Restaurants banquets bars coffee shops and other hotel dining outlets Flexible to work in shifts weekends and public holidays Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 14 000 00 - 16 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
