Hungry Humble Honest with Heart The OpportunityAre you a virtualization expert with experience in multiple virtualization platforms and a passion for delivering outstanding customer support If so you ll find a rewarding opportunity on our team where you can leverage your VMware expertise collaborate with dedicated professionals and contribute to shaping innovative solutions that enhance our clients success About the TeamThe consultant will join the Professional Services team at Nutanix which is based in Pune Maharashtra India The team s culture emphasizes collaboration innovation and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving The mission of the Professional Services team is to deliver exceptional value to customers by ensuring the successful deployment and optimization of Nutanix solutions acting as trusted advisors to facilitate their digital transformation journeys This role does not require any travel allowing you to focus on delivering value to customers from your designated workspace without the need for on-site visits at customer locations Your Role Monitor and ensure the health of production infrastructure proactively identifying potential issues Assist customers in adopting and maximizing the use of Nutanix portfolio solutions Collaborate with the Site Reliability Engineering SRE team to resolve issues and drive them to closure Prepare and share a comprehensive roadmap plan for customer activities over the next 6 to 8 months Provide guidance on Nutanix best practices reference architecture and validated design Act as a trusted adviser to customers regarding new Nutanix solutions and offerings Engage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders during customer interactions Build expertise in virtualization technologies and Nutanix products to drive long-term customer success This role operates in a hybrid capacity blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration For most roles that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week however certain roles and or teams may require more frequent in-office presence Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager What You Will Bring Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration and virtualization technologies Proficient in VMware skills and architecture including managing production VMware clusters Strong understanding of storage concepts in virtualization and VMware internal networking architecture Ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot complex problems Excellent communication skills both spoken and written with abilities to articulate problems clearly Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders during discussions Knowledge of Nutanix portfolio products is a bonus Basic understanding of networking concepts is beneficial Nutanix is an equal opportunity employer Nutanix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and in the U S an Affirmative Action employer Qualified applicants are considered for employment opportunities without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity or expression national origin age marital status protected veteran status disability status or any other category protected by applicable law We hire and promote individuals solely on the basis of qualifications for the job to be filled We strive to foster an inclusive working environment that enables all our Nutants to be themselves and to do great work in a safe and welcoming environment free of unlawful discrimination intimidation or harassment As part of this commitment we will ensure that persons with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodations If you need a reasonable accommodation please let us know by contacting
