Job Description Company : Textile & Garment Manufacturing company in Uganda Position : Asst. Sales Manager Job Location : Uganda Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing strategic sales plans. - Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities. - Conduct regular market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends. - Coordinate with production, design, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. - Prepare and deliver product presentations, quotations, and sales proposals. - Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in line with company policies and pricing strategies. - Track sales targets and prepare regular sales reports for management review. - Participate in textile trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events. - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support. - Train and supervise junior sales staff if needed. - Maintain up-to-date records of sales activity, pricing, and volumes. - Track competitors pricing, product and strategy Desired Profile : - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Textile Engineering, or related field. - 35 years of experience in textile or garment sales (domestic or international market). - Strong knowledge of textile products such as fabrics, yarns, or finished garments. - Proven sales track record and ability to meet/exceed targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. - Willingness to travel as required.
