Job Description Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). - 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role. - Experience building large-scale distributed systems. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field. This includes hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development. - Drive technical excellence within the team, promoting code quality, thorough testing, and adherence to Google's engineering standards. - Identify and address technical challenges and risks, making decisions and trade-offs to ensure timely delivery.
