Job Description Job Description: Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IIS Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and patching of our IIS servers. You will also actively monitor vulnerability announcements for multiple technologies and organize their timely mitigations in the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Windows Server OS and demonstrate proficiency in using PowerShell for IIS administration. Self-motivation and the curiosity to look beyond the daily work are a must. Roles and Responsibilities: - Taking ownership of an Internet Information Server based service - Acting as contact for an IIS based service to AT&T internal customer - Being responsible for the configuration and availability of IIS servers including patching, backup etc. This includes the patching of PHP and .NET in coordination with the application owners. - Acting as a security contact for the team, following up on security vulnerabilities and seeing to their timely fix. - Gathering requirements from customers for webpages and webservices and helping to develop them into services - Representing the team in security related calls. Shift timing (if any): Working hours are Indian standard business hours but flexibility is required for participating in calls or applying patches or doing changes. Location / Additional Location (if any): Bangalore, Hyderabad Overall Experience: At least 12 years of experience with Microsoft Internet Information server. Primary / Mandatory skills: - Very good skills in administration of Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS) - Good understanding of PHP including Laravel and .Net and their usage in IIS - Ability to use PowerShell to automate the IIS administration. - Good understanding of server security - Good understanding of digital certificates and PKI infrastructure - Willingness to work in an international team Secondary / Desired skills: - ConnectDirect Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science. 5+ years of related experience.
