Role Description This is a full-time remote position for a Kolkata Head Desk Intern. The selected candidate will undertake essential duties such as monitoring news trends, producing high-quality content, editing, and assisting with news publication for the NT Bangla desk. Other day-to-day tasks include staying updated on current events, collaborating with the team to create engaging stories, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in news reporting. Qualifications - Strong skills in News Writing, Content Creation, and Storytelling - Experience or interest in Editing and Proofreading - Ability to stay updated on current events and conduct necessary Research - Proficiency in Communication Skills, both written and verbal - Knowledge of the media landscape in West Bengal and national news; fluency in Bangla is advantageous - Ability to work remotely, meet deadlines, and collaborate with team members - Pursuing or completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field - Familiarity with digital media tools or platforms is a bonus.
