Remark: this role is qualifying leads, activating inactive, lapsing customers and identifying potential new customers for development. The role will mostly be office-based sales with little outdoor visit.

PEI-Genesis is one of the worlds fastest assemblers of precision connectors and cable assemblies. PEI partners with customers to design engineered solutions that meet specific application requirements and then delivers with speed, service and consistent quality that is unmatched in the industry.
The Inside Sales Rep, India (ISR) is responsible for establishing and developing new customers for PEI Genesis, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing customer relationships. ISR must be able to identify customers with high potential for growth, know how PEIs product offerings can be used to provide solutions for customers, and be knowledgeable and persuasive in selling those solutions to customers. The ISR will make outgoing calls for the majority of his/her workday and must be organized, disciplined, able to work at a quick pace, able to multi-task and be self-sufficient in carrying out his/her job responsibilities. Ultimately, the ISR must meet published KPIs, including exceeding the budgeted sales and Gross Profit targets for his/her assigned accounts and/or territory, and convert leads into sales.
*Experience within a Distribution model and direct experience in technical selling into the Aerospace, Defense, R&D, Oil & Gas, Clean energy/ E-vehicle, Industrial Electronic, Electronic Contract Manufacturing Services would be highly valued.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: (Needed/desired for this Position)
University Degree /Diploma or equivalent in any field preferably in science /engineering; and/or minimum of three years sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English and Hindi is a must.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of tele-sales/ telemarketing and customer service best practices, working in an outbound sales environment. The candidate must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English and Hindi. The candidate should be goal-oriented, possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on excellent telephone etiquette.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Proactively generating. qualifying sales leads opportunities, negotiation and sales close
- Establish and develop new customers for the company in a defined geographic, market or industry, utilizing cold calling, lead follow-up, sample follow-up, PEI-Genesis literature and line card mailings, etc.
- Meet or exceed outbound call KPIs, and quote follow up requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships to increase the amount of business and the diversity of products that PEI-Genesis sells to these customers by pursuing possibilities and opportunities beyond those initiated by thecustomer.
- Understand the potential of each account to maintain or grow sales and communicate potential to management.
- Maintain regular contact with your customer Base.
- Be responsive to customer calls and inquiries in a timely manner, consistently follow up on all outstanding quotes, and communicate feedback to the management team to assist in closing the business.
- Understand all pertinent government regulations and customer terms and conditions and how they relate to PEI-Genesiss processes and capabilities.
- Ensure that all price, delivery, quality and special handling requirements requested by customers are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Coordinate large bids, quotes, orders and opportunities with your manager, and appropriate people at PEI.
- Work with available resources not only within PEI, but Manufacturers Representatives, Factory Representatives, and other outside sources to assist customers and expand personal knowledge of product capabilities and solutions.
