SYSTRA is one of the world s leading engineering and consulting groups specializing in public transport and mobility solutions For over 65 years the Group has been committed to helping cities and regions develop by creating improving and modernizing their transport infrastructure and systems Context In India SYSTRA is an international consulting and engineering company operating in the fields of Metros High Speed Rail Railways Roads Buildings Urban planning and Water Environment for public and private organizations Our engineers work with passion to deliver the most reliable cost-effective and made-to measures solutions allowing end users to move seamlessly SYSTRA s unique expertise is backed with a reputation built through technical excellence delivered on projects Thanks to our know-how of our employees spread across India we are present at all stages from upstream studies to operation and maintenance We provide a comprehensive solution to manage all kinds of missions Detailed Design Consultant Project Management Independent checking services SYSTRA India s comprehensive know-how and expertise in Railways provides a wide spectrum of solutions for any challenge Building a new rail link doubling the capacity gauge conversion upgrading a network improving the performance of existing lines etc Our extensive experience encompasses Bridges station buildings Depots Earthwork Track Works Power Supply and Transmission Signaling Telecommunications Rolling Stock Utilities diversion and yard re-modelling etc Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation Currently we are bidding for Semi High Speed Rail projects across India The position of Chief Rolling stock Expert is the key position in these BIDs Missions Main Duties Lead Architectural Concept and Design Vision Establish the architectural master plan and design guidelines for the entire corridor ensuring a cohesive look and feel for all stations depots and operational buildings This includes defining the aesthetic vision materials palette and branding integration with the rail service Station Planning and Passenger Flow People-Centric Design Oversee the detailed architectural planning of all passenger stations focusing on optimal passenger experience PX Key elements include efficient pedestrian flow seamless multi-modal integration e g with metro buses parking accessibility for all users and intuitive wayfinding systems Functional and Spatial Requirement Integration Serve as the technical lead for translating the operational requirements e g ticketing security retail railway systems maintenance access into functional and efficient architectural layouts Ensure the spatial planning meets safety security and fire code requirements specific to rail infrastructure Sustainability and Life-Cycle Cost Optimization Drive the integration of sustainable design principles e g passive cooling natural lighting energy-efficient systems to minimize the long-term operational costs and environmental impact of the stations and structures Technical Review and Regulatory Compliance Hold the final architectural sign-off authority for all architectural design submissions and construction documents Ensure strict compliance with all local and national building codes accessibility standards and railway-specific regulatory body requirements Coordination and Stakeholder Management Act as the primary architectural liaison for external stakeholders e g city authorities local planning bodies and internally coordinate with the engineering disciplines Civil Structural MEP and Systems to resolve complex technical and aesthetic interfaces Profile Skills Graduate in Architecture with working Knowledge of reading writing and Speaking in English Minimum 20 Years post minimum qualification experience in Infrastructure sub sector related to Transport Logistics Relevant Experience - 05 years experience for Planning and review of detailed Architectural design and drawings of Elevated stations Underground stations and Depot Preparation of Tender Drawings of Rail based Passenger Transit system as Chief Architecture Expert or equivalent position The period of relevant Experience at the position immediately below the proposed position in organization shall also be considered but its weightage for the period shall be 50 For example 02 years will be considered as 01 year Eligible Assignment -Must have Experience of one Eligible assignment as Chief Architecture Expert or equivalent position or one level below The period of Eligible Assignment at the position immediately below the proposed position in organization shall also be considered but its weightage for the period shall be 50 For example 02 years will be considered as 01 year If assignment period is more than 2 years on a particular project the number assignment will be considered as follows Min 4 years 2 Assignments Min 6 years 3 Assignments We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency As we are growing this is time to be a part of this challenging adventure It s not a job -
