SYSTRA is one of the world s leading engineering and consulting groups specializing in public transport and mobility solutions For over 65 years the Group has been committed to helping cities and regions develop by creating improving and modernizing their transport infrastructure and systems Context In India SYSTRA is an international consulting and engineering company operating in the fields of Metros High Speed Rail Railways Roads Buildings Urban planning and Water Environment for public and private organizations Our engineers work with passion to deliver the most reliable cost-effective and made-to measures solutions allowing end users to move seamlessly SYSTRA s unique expertise is backed with a reputation built through technical excellence delivered on projects Thanks to our know-how of our employees spread across India we are present at all stages from upstream studies to operation and maintenance We provide a comprehensive solution to manage all kinds of missions Detailed Design Consultant Project Management Independent checking services SYSTRA India s comprehensive know-how and expertise in Railways provides a wide spectrum of solutions for any challenge Building a new rail link doubling the capacity gauge conversion upgrading a network improving the performance of existing lines etc Our extensive experience encompasses Bridges station buildings Depots Earthwork Track Works Power Supply and Transmission Signaling Telecommunications Rolling Stock Utilities diversion and yard re-modelling etc Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation Currently we are bidding for Semi High Speed Rail projects across India The position of Sr Architecture Expert -Construction Support International is the key position in these BIDs Missions Main Duties Design Interpretation and Clarification Serve as the final technical authority on architectural design intent providing expert response to Requests for Information RFIs and issuing immediate design clarifications to construction teams and contractors International Code and Standard Compliance Ensure that all architectural construction work materials and installations comply with mandated international building codes accessibility standards e g ADA PRM and fire life safety regulations On-Site Quality Assurance QA QC Conduct regular detailed site inspections and quality audits of architectural finishes structural interfaces and material usage in stations and infrastructure to uphold the design quality and passenger experience standards Change and Non-Conformance Management Review and approve all Architectural Non-Conformance Reports NCRs and evaluate contractor-proposed design changes Value Engineering during construction assessing their impact on function cost and schedule Multi-Disciplinary Interface Coordination Work closely with the Chief System Integration Expert to manage complex architectural interfaces with engineering disciplines MEP Civil S T ensuring integrated elements like escalators ventilation shafts and power rooms are correctly housed Progress Certification and Documentation Review and certify architectural completion stages ensuring that all As-Built drawings and final documentation accurately reflect the constructed environment before handover for testing and commissioning Profile Skills Graduate in architecture and having Working Knowledge in Writing and Speaking English Minimum 15 Years post Bachelor s degree experience in Infrastructure sub sector related to Transport Logistics Relevant Experience - 10 years experience for Planning and review of detailed Architectural design and drawings of Elevated stations Underground stations and Depot Preparation of Tender Drawings of Rail based Passenger Transit system as Chief Architecture Expert or equivalent position The period of relevant Experience at the position immediately below the proposed position in organization shall also be considered but its weightage for the period shall be 50 For example 02 years will be considered as 01 year Eligible Assignment -Must have Experience of one Eligible assignment as Chief Architectural Expert or equivalent The period of Eligible Assignment at the position immediately below the proposed position in organization shall also be considered but its weightage for the period shall be 50 For example 02 years will be considered as 01 year If assignment period is more than 2 years on a particular project the number assignment will be considered as follows Min 4 years 2 Assignments Min 6 years 3 Assignments International Experience- Minimum 03 years experience on projects for Rail based Passenger Transit system with operational speed of 160 kmph or more in Country s We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency As we are growing this is time to be a part of this challenging adventure It s not a job - it s a career
