Were active members of the communities we serve Thats why at Stantec we always design with community in mind We believe growing a great design company happens from the inside out We look for people who are drawn to use every talent they possess plus creativity determination and a drive to do the extraordinary The Stantec community unites approximately 22 000 employees working in over 400 locations across six continents We collaborate across disciplines and industries to bring projects to life Our work as architects engineers and consultants from initial project concept and planning through design construction and commissioning is built on a solid history of success So when we take on a project we see the opportunity to make a lasting connection with the people and places where we live and work Redefine your personal best Join us Primary Purpose of Job Contribute to the ongoing growth of STANTEC ResourceNet India Private Ltd by providing technical expertise in the various sectors as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering conceptual design outline design detailed design and construction support for buildings water wastewater treatment projects across the STANTEC offices UK US Middle East Asia Pacific etc To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading-edge programs and projects Stantec is looking for BIM Technician - AECOsim with expertise in Civil and Mechanical design and detailing using AECOsim software based in the Pune India office Key Accountabilities Preparation of 3D model and 2D sheets of General arrangement Site layout sectional drawings using AECOsim Microstation Software To understand design drafting systems standards and design development process followed by clients and implement in work Review the input received from client and understand the scope of work and then plan work accordingly without changing design intent Coordination with other disciplines designers and engineers as applicable Need to work off-hours for client co-ordination Occasionally Should be able to resolve other team member queries Able to create and work on Custom AECOsim part and families wherever applicable Attend project meetings and calls as required Must adhere to company QAQC process and BIM strategies Diploma in Civil Mechanical Engineering or I T I in Civil Mechanical Draughtsman Should have minimum 6-8 years of experience in Civil Mechanical water and wastewater industry and minimum experience in AECOsim is at least 4 years Experience in Civil Mechanical Computer Aided Design on Water Industry projects Candidate should be able to visualize and produce clash free 3D model using Navisworks AECOsim Building Designer or latest 3D version of Bentley Should be well familiar with Microstation Bentley 2D latest versions Candidate should be able to Generate 2D views on Client sheets using Microstation V8i or latest Bentley Microstation Connect edition Experience in Point cloud to BIM is a preferred skill Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering in a BIM environment Full understanding and support in the development of CAD BIM standards and procedures Experience in Point cloud to BIM is a plus Should be good team player Good oral and written communication skills in English Data document management system experience such as ProjectWise BIM360
