Job Description

- Manage and lead the resolution of major incidents to restore services efficiently.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.

- Ensure timely communication with stakeholders regarding incident updates and resolutions.

- Develop and maintain incident management processes and documentation.

- Analyse incident trends to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.

- Act as a point of escalation for critical incidents within the organisation.

- Collaborate with service teams to ensure adherence to SLAs and operational standards.

- Provide post-incident reports and recommendations for future prevention.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Major Incident Manager should have:

- A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

- Experience in managing incidents in a technology-focused environment.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.

- Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Knowledge of incident management frameworks and tools.

- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks.
